The Summer Uniform
The Summer Uniform by Thread & Crescent
“The charm is in the ease of wear and versatility. Worn with simple sandals and a belt you have a comfortable but pulled together outfit for running errands or a day trip. At the end of the day swap your flats for heeled sandals and jewelry and you’re ready for an evening out. Perfect for a weekend trip”

I Think You Think Too Much
If you think I'm magical
'Cause roses bloom with my touch
That's mathematical
I think you think too much
I touch roses
If you try to talk with me
If you try to copy my
Pocket full of poses
You still can't touch my roses
I touch roses
I touch roses
I touch roses
I touch roses
If you think I'm magical
'Cause roses bloom with my touch
But magics just not practical
I think you think too much
I touch roses
I touch roses
I can touch roses

I Dont Want No Spaghettios!
Watched We Jam Econo: The Story of the Minutemen today. It was just what I needed! I've been feeling so bummed out recently as I've found myself surrounded by, and in some ways associated professionally with, an unusual amount of blatant imitation. D. Boone, Mike Watt and George Hurley reminded me of what it means to be punk rock. We get so caught up in life and making a living that we so often abandon our unique voices & visions to follow a trend, follow a dollar.. we abandon our punk rock. It reminded me to take a step back and keep it real because my punk is not dead.

My Momma's Casserole
Mom's Shrimp & Rice Casserole
1 stick of butter
1 onion
1 rib of celery
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
2 cups of rice
1 lb. of peeled shrimp - seasoned w/salt, pepper, garlic powder
Cook the rice and set aside. Melt the butter in a pot on the stove and saute the onions and celery until wilted.. season w/salt and pepper to taste. Add the can of cream of mushroom soup, cook on low heat until combined. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink. Once that is all cooked mix in the rice. Put that mixture in a casserole dish and bake it at 350 for 30 minutes. *Adding bread crumbs on top is yummy but not necessary.
This is a great dish because you can eat it for several days.. it actually gets better and better in the following days after its made. And so easy even the boys can make it!
Bon Appetit!
PS. I'm going to Europe this week with my brother!! Follow me on Twitter for live coverage of our adventures.
