Shock Jock

Just cant get enough of cosmic chaos and fantastic disasters these days... especially the work of Scandinavian Designer Karl Grandin, the artist responsible for creating the Cheap Monday skull and their wicked, psychedelic sci-fi prints. I like his style overall, though, like the "Nightlife Owl" (above) he designed a couple years ago and had projected onto the side of the Stedelijk Museum/Post CS building in Amsterdam during the night of Art Beat, a popular art event held annually as a platform for non-museal art, street artists. My favorite though is "Shock of the New" (top two images) that was done for Cheap Monday's sub label, WKND.

BTW, did you know there is a Cheap Monday store in Chinatown (LA)? Yep... Choose Chinatown
